Hi, I'm Mike, owner of Flooring R&R

I’ve worked in the flooring industry for over 26 years and have spent most of that time specializing in carpet installation throughout Utah. I got my start in central Utah working in older homes where no two jobs were ever the same. Those houses taught me a lot early on—how to work through difficult layouts, complicated staircases, patterned carpet, and the kind of challenges you only learn by doing.

Over the years, I worked with several flooring stores across the state and was trusted with everything from everyday installs to high-end homes and Parade of Homes projects. I’ve always enjoyed the technical side of the trade— how to hide seams properly, make a repair blend and power stretching carpet to last.

These days, I focus mainly on carpet repair and re-stretching. After seeing thousands of jobs over the years, I’ve learned that experience matters just as much as the materials themselves. A repair done correctly should hold up, look natural, and save people from replacing carpet before they really need to.

I take a lot of pride in being dependable, straightforward, and easy to work with. Most of my business comes from referrals, which I’ve always taken as the biggest compliment.
